Applications for the 'Nipuna Saviya' financial grant, introduced for students who sat for the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination, will close on October 30, the Employees Trust Fund Board (ETFB) has announced.
The ETFB stated that all applications must be submitted online through its official website.
Under the Nipuna Saviya programme, eligible applicants can receive a financial grant of up to Rs. 50,000 to pursue vocational training.
The grant can be used to enroll in one of 100 selected courses offered by vocational training institutes registered with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). The eligible courses are recognized under the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Levels 3, 4, and 5.
