The Court of Appeal today (16) announced that it will deliver its decision on July 23 on whether to grant leave to proceed with a petition seeking the postponement of the 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
The petition was filed by a group of students requesting the court to issue an order delaying the examination, which is currently scheduled to be held this year.
The matter was taken up before the Court of Appeal today, where submissions were presented by both the petitioners and the Attorney General’s Department.
Following the hearing, the Court of Appeal bench decided to reserve its decision on granting leave to proceed with the petition and fixed July 23, 2026, for the announcement of its determination.
