According to police, the incident occurred yesterday evening when a dispute erupted between two groups who were reportedly under the influence of alcohol while attending the wedding function. The argument subsequently escalated into a physical confrontation.
The arrested suspects are scheduled to be produced before the Hatton Magistrate’s Court today.
Police further stated that investigations are continuing to identify and apprehend three additional suspects believed to have been involved in the incident.
Authorities are conducting further inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the clash.
