According to the NWSDB, water supply will be suspended from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the areas of Kalutara, Wadduwa, Matugama, Beruwala, Aluthgama, and Payagala.
The Board stated that the temporary disruption is due to a planned suspension of electricity supply to the Kethhena Water Treatment Plant, which is responsible for supplying water to these areas.
Residents in the affected locations are advised to make necessary arrangements and store an adequate amount of water for essential use during the interruption period.
