Three individuals sustained injuries in the incident and were admitted to the Embilipitiya Base Hospital for treatment.
Police stated that a tipper truck had crashed into the safety barrier along the expressway. Subsequently, a concrete mixer truck traveling behind the tipper collided with the rear of the vehicle, leading to the accident.
Further investigations into the incident are currently being conducted by the police.
