The suspects, aged 30, 35 and 40, had arrived from Bangkok on a Thai AirAsia flight at around 9.55 p.m. on May 25.
Airport Customs officers discovered 125 cartons containing 25,000 cigarettes manufactured in China concealed inside six suitcases carried by the passengers.
The suspects were taken into custody by Customs officials at the airport, while further investigations are underway.
