The programme has been jointly organized by the National Youth Services Council and the National Federation of Youth Clubs.
The awareness walks are scheduled to be held in all districts of the country with the aim of educating the public, especially youth, on the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on the future generation.
The national-level event is set to take place in Maharagama.
