Accordingly, Maldivian citizens will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) through www.eta.gov.lk prior to arriving in Sri Lanka.
This was announced in a statement issued by the Sri Lanka High Commission in the Maldives.
However, the statement further noted that Maldivian nationals who register through the system will be granted a 90-day tourist visa free of charge.
