During the meeting, the Ministry of Defense said both sides held cordial and constructive discussions on matters of bilateral importance and mutual interest, further strengthening defense relations between Sri Lanka and India.
Discussions reportedly covered continued defence cooperation, professional collaboration between the two air forces, and strengthening existing channels of engagement between the two countries’ armed forces.
Senior officials from the Indian Air Force were present at the meeting, along with the Defence Attaché and Deputy Defence Attaché of the Indian High Commission in Colombo.
The Ministry noted that the visit reflects the ongoing high-level engagement and close defense partnership maintained between Sri Lanka and India, with regular exchanges aimed at enhancing cooperation in the defense sector.
