He made the complaint before the Special Presidential Commission on Coal Fraud, located at the Aluthkade Court Complex, submitting both written and oral representations along with other civil activists.

Dr. Sanjeewa urged the commission to review audit reports, technical assessments, parliamentary Hansard records, and public statements made by MPs and former ministers regarding alleged flaws in the coal procurement tender.

He requested that the investigation cover the entire process from the initiation of the tender to the present stage and be expedited through relevant law enforcement bodies, including the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Bribery Commission.
