According to the latest SLTDA figures, a total of 732,316 visitors have entered Sri Lanka from January 1 to March 29, 2026, reflecting a steady growth compared to previous months.
The majority of arrivals came from key international markets, including India, United Kingdom, Russia, China, Germany, and Australia, highlighting continued global interest in Sri Lanka as a tourist destination.
This steady influx is seen as a positive sign for the island’s economy, as the tourism sector plays a vital role in driving employment and foreign revenue.
