The order was issued by Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama, who also directed that the warrants be circulated to all airports across the country.
The court further instructed the Department of Immigration and Emigration to arrest the suspects upon their arrival in Sri Lanka and to inform the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
The suspects have been named in connection with an alleged bribery incident related to the procurement of Airbus aircraft, which is currently under investigation.
