According to the Commission, the platform is being introduced as a key requirement under the Anti-Corruption Act No. 09 of 2023, with the aim of enhancing transparency and efficiency in the country’s anti-corruption framework.
The official inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall premises, specifically at the International Studies Centre Auditorium, at 10:00 a.m. on March 31.
Previously, asset and liability declarations in Sri Lanka were submitted through manually completed printed forms. The Commission emphasized that the new system goes beyond simple online form submission, offering a fully digitized process.
A key feature of the platform is its built-in verification capability, designed to identify false declarations and detect unusual accumulation of assets. Authorities say this innovation will strengthen oversight and accountability.
