The event will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, and the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni.
These appointment letters will be awarded to 2,918 selected candidates from the 2022 batch relevant to the year 2025 intake for student nurse training.
The initiative aims to enhance the human resources capacity within the national health service and ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services to the public.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, Specialist Dr. Anil Jasinghe, and the Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardena, are also expected to attend the event along with several other officials from the Ministry.
