Police said that 180 kilograms of narcotics, including crystal methamphetamine (ice) and heroin, have been transported to the Wanathawilluwa - Lattowatta Incinerator for destruction.
According to the police, the stock of drugs consists of substances that had been seized during various operations conducted across the country.
Authorities further stated that the narcotics were released for destruction after receiving the necessary approvals from the relevant courts.
