The visit is being made at the invitation of the German-Asia Pacific Business Association (OAV) Bremen Chapter. During the visit, Minister Herath will participate in events marking the 125th anniversary of the Bremen Chapter of the Asia Pacific Business Association.
He will attend the anniversary celebrations as the Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker representing Asia. Johann Wadephul, Foreign Minister of Germany, will participate in the event as Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker from Germany.
The OAV is the largest German association dedicated to promoting German-Asian business relations, bringing together business leaders and policymakers with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
During the visit, Minister Herath is also scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with Minister Wadephul and take part in a business roundtable focused on Sri Lanka.
