Sri Lanka will take on England in their Super 8 stage match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup today (22) at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
The match is scheduled to begin at 3.00 p.m. local time, with both teams looking to secure crucial points in the second round of the tournament.
Meanwhile, the first Super 8 encounter was scheduled to be played yesterday (21) between Pakistan national cricket team and New Zealand national cricket team.
After winning the toss, Pakistan captain Salman Agha elected to bat first. However, persistent rain at the R. Premadasa Stadium forced officials to abandon the match without a ball being bowled.
