According to the police, the operation aims to dismantle the drug supply chain, reduce domestic demand, and rehabilitate those affected by addiction. The report covers the period from October 30, 2025, to February 19, 2026, highlighting the scale and intensity of law enforcement efforts.
“Ice” (crystal methamphetamine) and cannabis remain the most prevalent substances, with seizures of 1,416 kg of “Ice,” over 3,506 kg of cannabis, and 6.2 million cannabis plants. Other significant confiscations included 524 kg of heroin, 199 kg of Kush, 121 kg of hashish, and nearly one million psychotropic pills, reflecting efforts to curb the misuse of prescription drugs.
A total of 99,540 suspects were arrested during 100,247 raids carried out islandwide. Authorities are also targeting the financial networks of the trade, with investigations into illegally acquired assets initiated for 137 high-level suspects.
Beyond enforcement, the operation has focused on rehabilitation, with 1,639 individuals referred to treatment centers to support their reintegration into society. Additionally, 1,973 suspects remain in detention for further investigation to identify the key figures behind regional drug distribution networks.
