The match is scheduled to commence at 3.00 p.m., with stadium gates opening at 12.00 noon. Police have advised spectators to arrive early to avoid delays.
Police Media Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police F. Wootler, said that 350 police officers have been deployed for traffic duties, while more than 500 security personnel have been assigned for special security arrangements. He noted that some officers will be in civilian attire and that drone surveillance will also be in operation to monitor the area.
The public has been requested to cooperate with security personnel during physical checks. Police further reminded spectators that luggage, bags, electronic equipment and liquor will not be permitted inside the stadium.
Road restrictions will be enforced from noon on the following roads:
- Sangaraja Mawatha and Sumanadisi Mawatha
- Vincent Perera Mawatha
- Britto Babapulle Place, Temple Road and Khettarama Road
- Sebastian Canal Road
- 100-Foot Road
- Sri Bodhiraja Mawatha
- Maligawatte Lane and Jumma Masjid Road
- Pradeepa Mawatha and Saddharma Mawatha
Deputy Inspector General Senadheera stated that vehicular movement will also be restricted on roads leading to the stadium.
Six parking areas have been designated for spectators:
- Stadium car park – Capacity of 165 vehicles for VIP, VVIP pass holders and media
- Sathosa grounds and railway yard – Capacity of 500 light vehicles, including three-wheelers, vans, motorcycles and cars
- Sebastian Canal Road (between the first and second bridges) – Capacity of 80 vehicles
- Applewatte – Capacity of 150 vehicles
- Kovil Road – Capacity of 200 vehicles
- Both sides of Adi Seeya Road – Capacity of 150 vehicles
