The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the procurement of 10 electric drills for use in brain surgeries and other neurosurgical procedures, following an international competitive bidding process.
Two bids were received, and after careful evaluation, the contract was awarded to Aesculap AG (Germany), the lowest responsive bidder, based on recommendations from the High-Level Standing Procurement Committee and the Procurement Appeal Board.
The approval was made following a proposal by the Minister of Health and Mass Media, aiming to enhance neurosurgical capabilities and improve patient care in the country.
