During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed the special appreciation of the Palestinian Government for Sri Lanka’s unwavering support, particularly its backing of resolutions related to Palestine at the United Nations.
He also noted that the invitation extended by Minister Vijitha Herath to the Palestinian Foreign Minister to visit Sri Lanka was regarded as a great honour by the Palestinian Government.
