The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup warm-up matches get underway today (7), with India and Sri Lanka serving as key host nations for the opening fixtures of the tournament.
As part of the warm-up schedule, two matches will be played in India, while Sri Lanka will host one match.
Kicking off the day’s action, Pakistan will take on the Netherlands in a morning encounter at the SSC Ground in Colombo, with the match scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, Scotland will face the West Indies in an afternoon clash at the iconic Eden Gardens in India, with the match set to start at 3:00 p.m.
Later in the evening, tournament hosts India will go up against the United States of America in their warm-up match, which is scheduled to commence at 7:00 p.m.
These matches mark the official start of the warm-up phase, giving teams valuable match practice ahead of the main T20 World Cup competition.
