Lahiru Weerasekara, the National Organizer of the Youth for Change movement, has been arrested by Thebuwana Police following a complaint alleging unauthorized entry into a private factory located in Naththupana, Thebuwana.
According to the complaint lodged by the factory officials, Weerasekara's actions resulted in a financial loss amounting to Rs. 43,000. The incident is said to have taken place during an unauthorized visit to the factory premises.
Police arrested Weerasekara after conducting a preliminary investigation into the complaint. Further inquiries are currently underway.
