An individual was injured in a shooting incident reported (21) in the Rajapakshapura area, Seeduwa, police said.
According to reports, two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at the victim before fleeing the scene.
The injured person has been admitted to Ragama Hospital for treatment. Investigations are ongoing.
