Dr. Harini Amarasuriya was officially sworn in today as the 17th Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.The ceremony took place this afternoon at the Prime Minister's Office Flower Road, marking the commencement of her tenure at the helm of the nation's government.

In her first remarks after the swearing-in, Dr. Amarasuriya expressed her commitment to steering the country toward stability and progress, focusing on economic recovery, social justice, and enhancing democratic governance.
