The Sri Lanka Examinations Department has clarified that no official announcement has been made regarding the release of the 2024 G.C.E. (A/L) examination results. Commissioner General of Examinations, H.J.M.C. Amit Jayasundara, issued a statement today refuting the circulating news in various print and social media outlets regarding the release date of the results.
Mr.Jayasundara emphasized that the information being shared in the media is false and urged the public to be cautious of such misinformation. “The public should not be misled by unverified reports or rumors. The Examinations Department will issue a formal announcement when the results are ready for release,” he said.
The 2024 G.C.E. (A/L) examination was conducted from November 25 to December 31, 2024. The Commissioner General assured students and parents that the department is working diligently to process the results and that an official date for their release will be shared as soon as it is finalized.
In conclusion, Jayasundara advised the public to rely only on official channels for any updates regarding the examination results.
