The International Performing Arts Research Conference (IPAC)- 2025 is being held today (20th) and tomorrow (21st) at the University of Colombo, Faculty of Aesthetic Arts. The Department of Dance and Drama at the University of Colombo is organizing this conference.
FfAround 200 researchers, both local and international, are expected to participate in this international research conference. Presentations will include research papers on traditional and contemporary performing arts, as well as interdisciplinary studies conducted with technology, social sciences, and humanities.
A special feature of this conference is the participation of approximately 50 international researchers. Their contributions will bring fresh perspectives and global participation to the field of performing arts research in Sri Lanka.
Engaging with international scholars fosters cultural cooperation and enhances the exchange of academic information, creating new opportunities for collaborative research projects.
