The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 16-hour water cut in several parts of Katana, starting at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, March 19, and lasting until midnight on March 20.
The water supply will be temporarily suspended due to essential maintenance work.
The affected areas include:
- Bambukuliya
- Muruthana
- Katana North and West
- Udangawa
- Manacheriya
- Thoppuwa
- Kaluwarippuwa West and East
- Kandawala
- Welihena North
- Adikkandiya
- Athgala
- Maha Athgala
Residents in these areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to store water for the duration of the cut. The NWSDB apologizes for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public's understanding and cooperation.
