In honor of International Women's Day, SriLankan Airlines made history by operating a special flight with an entirely female crew. Flight UL404, departing from Colombo to Bangkok, Thailand, was managed by an all-female team, marking a significant milestone in the airline's ongoing efforts to empower women in aviation.

The flight, which departed on March 8th, was operated aboard an Airbus A320, with female pilots, cabin crew, and ground staff all playing key roles in ensuring a smooth and successful journey. 

The return flight, UL405, will also be operated by the same team, further emphasizing SriLankan Airlines' commitment to gender equality in the aviation industry.

Speaking about the initiative, a spokesperson for SriLankan Airlines said, "We are proud to celebrate International Women's Day by showcasing the talents and leadership of our female colleagues.
