Cambridge University Press and Assessment has appointed Zahara Ansary as the new Country Head for Sri Lanka and the Maldives. This strategic move highlights Cambridge's continued dedication to enhancing education in the region, ensuring equitable access to high-quality and affordable learning opportunities.
With over 20 years of diverse experience across various sectors such as banking, telecommunications, business process outsourcing, and professional education, Zahara Ansary brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. She has previously held prominent positions at Nations Trust Bank PLC, WNS Global Services, Bharti Airtel Lanka, and most recently, served as the Country Manager at AICPA&CIMA Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Zahara shared, “Cambridge’s world-leading education, research, and assessment are shaping a brighter future for millions. I am excited to create opportunities for students in Sri Lanka and the Maldives and look forward to collaborating with schools, students, and partners to equip our youth with the skills and employability they need for success.”
