A tragic incident unfolded last night (27th February) in the Ethkandura area of the Baddegama Police Division when a clash between two groups resulted in the deaths of two brothers. The victims, aged 28 and 32, were fatally attacked with sharp weapons during the altercation, which erupted at a funeral gathering.
In addition to the two fatalities, three others were injured in the violent confrontation. The injured individuals have been rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
