Misty conditions are expected to affect some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces, as well as Badulla district during the morning.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours indicates mainly fair conditions across most sea areas around the island. However, there will be occasional showers in the sea areas off the coasts from Pottuvil to Kaluthara, extending via Hambantota and Galle.

Winds:
Northeasterly winds will prevail, with speeds ranging from 20-30 km/h. The wind speed could increase up to 40 km/h at times, particularly in the sea areas off the coasts from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam, and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.

State of Sea:
The sea conditions are expected to be fairly rough at times in the areas off the coasts from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota. Mariners are advised to be cautious in these regions.
