A three-bus collision at Angulugaha Junction in Imaduwa, Galle, this morning has left at least 29 passengers injured. The accident, which occurred around 8:30 a.m., involved two private buses and one office transport bus.

According to initial reports, the incident began when one bus was stationary, and another crashed into it from behind. A third bus subsequently collided with the second bus.

Emergency services responded swiftly, and 23 injured passengers were transported to Imaduwa Hospital. An additional six passengers were taken to Karapitiya Hospital for further treatment. The conditions of the injured are currently being assessed, but there are no reports of fatalities at this time.
