The authority emphasized that strict legal action will be pursued against any traders found to be violating the price regulations.
Consumers who encounter rice being sold at inflated prices are urged to report such incidents by calling the CAA's hotline at 1977. This initiative aims to protect consumers and ensure that rice prices remain within the government-approved limits.
