The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) to gather public opinions on the Ceylon Electricity Board's (CEB) proposal to maintain current electricity tariffs for the first half of 2025.
PUCSL Chairman Prof. K.P.L. Chandralal announced that public consultations will begin in two weeks, alongside a special study initiated by the Commission to assess the proposal.
The final decision on electricity tariffs will be made after completing the study and considering public feedback. The CEB submitted its recommendation to the PUCSL on December 6.
