Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, Sunil Hadunnetti, has announced a new initiative to distribute sewn school uniforms to students in the future.

Speaking at a ceremony in Colombo, the minister explained that this approach aims to reduce wastage and inefficiencies in the current uniform distribution process.

He emphasized that providing ready-made uniforms would help streamline the system, ensuring that resources are used effectively and unnecessary waste is minimized. The move is expected to address long-standing challenges in uniform supply and improve support for students across the country.
