Several spells of showers will occur in Northern and Eastern provinces and in Anuradhapura district.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces and in Nuwara-Eliya, Kandy, Kurunegala, Galle and Matara districts during the evening or night.
Mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere.
Misty conditions can be expected in most places of the island during the morning.

Condition of Rain:
Showers will occur at a few places in the sea areas extending from Batticaloa to Kankasanthurai via Trincomalee.
Winds:
Winds will be North-easterly or variable in direction in the sea areas around the island. Wind speed will be (20-30) kmph.
State of Sea:
The sea areas around the island will be slight according to the weather report issued.
