Muhammadu Sali Naleem has been officially sworn in as a Member of Parliament, representing the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) under the National List. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of Speaker Mr. Ashoka Ranwala.
In the recently concluded parliamentary elections, the SLMC secured 87,038 votes, earning two seats in Parliament. Naleem’s appointment marks a significant addition to the party’s representation in the legislative body.
