Police have arrested three suspects involved in illegal excavation for Treasures in Balathotaella, Welimada.
The suspects, identified as residents of Welimada and Mahiyanganaya, were found in possession of tools used for the excavation.
The individuals have been handed over to the Welimada Police for further investigation into the matter. Authorities continue to monitor and take action against such illegal activities recently increased as a trend.
