The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) of Sri Lanka has issued a crucial reminder to taxpayers that today Novj7is the final day for submitting income tax returns for the 2023/2024 assessment year.
Taxpayers are required to submit their returns exclusively online, with the IRD’s head office, regional, and urban offices open today as regular working days to offer technical support for any issues related to the online submission process.
Additionally, the Bank of Ceylon branches located at the IRD’s head office and its office premises in Jawatta will remain open to facilitate income tax payments.
Taxpayers are urged to complete their submissions and payments before the deadline to avoid any penalties or late fees.
