The Passara Police have announced that traffic on the Badulla Bibila road has been restricted following a landslide in the area. The landslide occurred above the road between the 143rd and 144th kilometer posts of the Passara Peradeniya .
Authorities from the National Building Research Institute and the Road Development Authority inspected the site yesterday. Based on their recommendations, the road will be open for traffic from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM today. However, the road will be closed between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM for safety reasons.
Motorists are urged to adhere to the new traffic restrictions and to exercise caution when traveling in the area.
