The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB)has announced that water supply will be suspended for 8 hours today,November 19in several areas of Anuradhapura.
The suspension, which will last from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, is due to essential maintenance work at the Nuwara Eliya Water Treatment Plant.
The affected areas include:
- Saliyapura
- Rajarata University
- Mihintalea
- Jaffna Junction
- Anuradhapura 1st Step
- Matale Junction
- Galkulama
Residents in these areas are advised to make necessary arrangements ahead of the scheduled water cut. The NWSDB has apologized for any inconvenience caused and urges the public to plan accordingly.
