Veteran actor Mr. Kamal Addararachchi announced that he will compete in the next general election with Uvindu Wijeweera, the son of the former leader of JVP Rohana Wijeweera.
With Mr.Addararachchi, some parties made an agreement to compete under the second generation led by Mr. Uvindu Wijeweera for the next general election.
Several civil organisations had joined the Second Generation Party yesterday where a convention was also signed.
Uvindu Wijeweera said: “The country cannot be developed if you send the same old thieves to the opposition. Let’s fill the entire Parliament with people who love this country.'
