Director-General of UNESCO, Ms. Audrey Azoulay, who is currently in Sri Lanka to celebrate the country's 75th anniversary of membership in UNESCO met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the President's House, Colombo.

She is on an official visit to the island from 16 – 19 July 2024, at the invitation of the Government of Sri Lanka.

During her three-day visit, she is also scheduled to meet the Education Minister Susil Premajayantha, Acting Foreign Affairs Minister Tharaka Balasuriya and other high-level government officials.

 Director-General of UNESCO   will take part at the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Sri Lanka’s Membership of UNESCO at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre and travel to UNESCO World Heritage Sites across the island.
