An unidentified male body has reportedly been discovered near the road in front of the Colombo Fort Railway Station.
Colombo Fort Police initiated an investigation upon receiving information about the incident last night (15th).
The deceased's identity has not yet been confirmed, but he is estimated to be approximately 60 to 65 years old, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a slender build.
According to police, the deceased was last seen wearing a short-sleeved shirt and a red-colored sarong.
Colombo Fort Police continue to conduct further investigations into the incident.
