The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to grant a Rs. 10,000 one-time allowance to all government employees below Executive Grade level who reported for duty during the recent strike.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe presented the proposal, which also includes awarding certificates of appreciation to these dedicated employees.
