Train services across the country have been significantly disrupted following a strike launched by the Railway Station Masters.
The Railway Department announced that several trains have been canceled, with only a limited number of services remaining operational.
In response to the strike, the department has implemented contingency measures. Currently, two trains each are running from Colombo Fort to Negombo and Veyangoda, two from Polgahawela to Fort, three from Galle to Fort, and one from Aluthgama to Fort.
Despite these efforts, commuters are advised to expect delays and cancellations as the strike continues.
