Police have uncovered a large-scale racket involving the live-streaming and sale of sex videos to a Chinese company.
Acting on information received, Piliyandala police arrested two young couples residing in a rented house in the Batakettara area of Piliyandala in connection with the incident.
During questioning, it was disclosed that the couples had moved into the house last March after residing in the Kollupitiya area.
At the time of the police raid, another couple was present, and investigations have revealed their direct involvement in the racket.
The suspects, aged 22, 23, 26, and 27, will be presented in court.
