Homagama police arrested a police constable and two soldiers for drug use, specifically ICE, during a raid conducted on Saturday night (11) at a residence near the Hiripitiya area.
Acting on public tip-offs, police arrested the suspects who were found in possession of 60 grams of ICE.
Further investigations revealed that the constable initially served in the Parliamentary Security Division as a police assistant before being promoted to a PC, while the other two suspects were soldiers stationed at the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps in the Panagoda army cantonment.
The suspects , residents from Moratuwa, Nikaweratiya, and Galapitamada areas to appear before the Homagama magistrate for legal proceedings.
