The funeral of Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne, the founder of the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement of Sri Lanka, is to be held today. ( 20th April) Dr. Ariyaratne had passed away on 16th at a private hospital in Colombo.
His remains are to be used at the Sarvodaya Headquarters in Moratuwa until Saturday noon.
Then the remains will be taken to the Independence Square, Colombo, before final rites are to be conducted with state honours.
